Splendor Divine

It's only May and my summer has begun with wonderful things, and I see God in it all. Beautiful migrations of Big Week near Lake Erie, feeling content in where I am and where I'm heading, and so much more. Again and as always feeling a little more thankful than months before.

There it shall be... :)

Still alive... :)

I've been taking lots of pictures still, but now it's finding time to get online and upload them. Before it got really cold I went on one of my favorite trails again and took some pictures. I love going out there and being alone in my thoughts and taking pictures along the way. I'm really happy in my life right now and moving forward where I once stood still. I use to find that I would trail off into wanting another life for myself but truly I'm content in the way things are going now :), There's an independence I have and am learning that others don't have the opportunity to know and in that I'm grateful. That's why I love this picture, it reminds me of where I'm at.

Unfiegned Photography

I've not given up photography lol, with gas prices being so high I've not really drove around like I use to taking pictures, but the good thing is every now and then I will get the opportunity to take portraits. Recently two wonderful members of my church were engaged and the soon to be husband of my dear friend set it up to where I was waiting in a second location to take pictures to capture that day. Marriage is a beautiful thing of God, if you aren't on strong foundation then how will you stand. It's all the more wonderful when you see a couple that has a love for God and a great love for eachother. So happy for them! Just awesome :) More to see at unfeignedphotography.com

All that Glitters

Well I wanted to at least update with my latest photo, I had wanted to finish my iced venti lite iced chi but when I came back to my car but to my disappointment it was frozen. I was about to throw it away but I saw the most beautiful frozen pattern painted within the cup. It made me just stop even though I was heading out for work, It's funny the little things that remind you of God. I had a busy day ahead of me but it captured my attention so I ran and got my camera, placed it in a setting I felt that matched, and took a picture. This blog is suppose to be about we see God in nature, but sometimes I think even God speaks through the everyday things and through the rush of the day. Starbucks isn't the best corporation in the world, in fact despite their efforts in charity, they could do far more for many causes. I was thankful to just stop and breathe. How did a starbucks cup remind me of God? lol it certainly wasn't the logo, or the fact it nearly froze to my hand, it was the pattern etched so neatly inside, it just made me think of how something I was about to throw out, had some type of value, it may have been just a moment to capture the picture, to been seen for a moment and appreciated, not because of it's status but by the simple creation of frost....So in all it wasn't a waste. I really don't mean to get so serious about it but it was just one of those things I guess.

I have another blog I've been writing in: http://abelovedheart.blogspot.com
It's just another outlet to take a few minutes and write about things on my mind or things going on in my life. Nothing too interesting :D

Winter

It's been a long time since I last posted and I hope to add all the pictures I've taken over fall and winter soon. Connection issues has really made it hard to upload new entries. These pictures were taken today, this winter surely has been beautiful!

Wild Flower

Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Luke 12:27

Hidden Trail pt. 2

Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.
Isaiah 12:3

In the dry heat of the day this creek was so refreshing to hear and feel. I've always known how vital water truly is but recently I've truly realized it's importance. I think a lot of times when it rains we over look it or feel it is a nuisance but forget how desperately everything around us depends on it. The word water appears in the bible about 363 times, not including other words for it or examples of it. It's a beautiful thing about scripture is how God use's His creation to explain how vital He is to our souls:

Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water. John 4:10

He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. John 7:38

Thankful for so much :)

Hidden Trail

I have taken so many pictures of trails, especially the one I frequent. So, it is so nice to be posting my new favorite. I found this trail after taking a random drive and when I finally got a chance to walk it I couldn't believe the sites I saw. I took many photos of the creek and flowers so there will be a part two to this posting. I also lost my lens cap taking pictures of the canopy of leaves but it was worth it. Pictures do not do this place justice.
