Let The Skies Pour Down

Drop down, ye heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness: let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up together; I the Lord have created it. Isaiah 49:8

I Shall Not Be Moved

I shall not be, I shall not be moved, I shall not be, I shall not be moved. Just like a tree that's planted by the waters I shall not be moved. At first glance this tree seemed to me to be hopelessly succumbing to the water that had swept away the dirt from it's roots' grasp. But I forgot that trees remain standing even in swamps and bogs. When I first saw this tree I thought that maybe one day that trees roots will have no support, fall, be swept away and forgotten. When in reality that tree will remain and if it falls or is removed it's seeds will spread. But if it's roots are deep and wide enough it will always remain standing.

And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. Psalm 1:3
("he" refering to a man whose delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and )

Even Nature Itself

I'm really excited to start this visual blog. Throughout my life I've stood in amazement of the things of nature. Once I became a Christian the things of nature became more meaningful because it was formed and painted by the hand of God.

This blog will contain photographs and short commentaries (thoughts, bible verses, or songs). I'm praying that this blog just inspire, and shine a little light on what this world has concrete-covered and forgotten.... That this world was made by God and his finger prints are all around. Even nature itself sings praise to the king of kings in a seemingly silent adoration.

1.God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
2. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
3. Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.
4. There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High.
5. God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.
6. The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted.
7. The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.
8. Come, behold the works of the Lord, what desolations he hath made in the earth.
9. He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire.
10. Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.
11. The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.
Psalm 46
